Guidelines 

In December 2005, the University of Texas Prevention Research Center’s Community Advisory Group invited members of the PATH project to join them to create a broader group of agencies focused on child health initiatives. PATH (Prevention and Advocacy for Teen Health) is a collaborative of service providers and community members whose mission is to promote the health of adolescents through research, health promotion, and education. Because PATH’s work is congruent with the research focus of the UTPRC, the two groups decided to join leadership to further their capacity to form working partnerships. The partnership benefits the UTPRC by providing access to a large community collaborative and a way to disseminate research findings. PATH benefits by having resources such as adolescent health researchers, data, and evidence-based programs.
