About SPHSA
The SPH Student Association is proud of being the largest student organization among the Schools of Public Health in the State of Texas in addition to being a part of the world's largest medical center. This site is aimed at being a good resource for the ever-busy graduate student, and as a medium to bring together the student community. We encourage you to keep an eye out for planned Student Association activities when you arrive on campus.
Purpose:
The purpose of the Student Association is three-fold:
· Promote the mutually supportive two-way communication within and between the student body, faculty, staff, and administration at the school and institutional levels,
· Improve the quality of student life through a variety of social activities, and
· Foster opportunity for student involvement in special events and to promote service to the community at large
