Orientation is mandatory for all students admitted to the MPH program.
Be prepared to purchase the annual parking card, $85, and pay for tuition at that time.
Presentations will include:
- An overview of the School of Public Health by the Regional Dean
- SPH Student Organization will present information concerning ID badges, parking cards, student services available at UTSW
- UTSW Library Services
- Campus tour
- Student Health Services
Do not register before you attend the orientation. You will have time to register for class after meeting with your advisor.
Prior to January 6, 2009. The student should have received from and returned to Houston the Residency Questionnaire and Certification of Immunization. Auxiliary Enterprises, 713-500-8400, also requires verification of health insurance coverage. UT Houston offers health insurance to students not able to verify their own insurance. The premium will be included with the tuition fees automatically if verification is not sent to Auxilliary Enterprises.
