International Center
The Centers for Health Promotion and Prevention Research is designated a World Health Organization Collaborating Center. A visiting professorship is shared by Center faculty to provide direction for graduate student research and to develop collaborative research projects with the faculty of the Department of Health Education, University of Maastricht, Maastricht, Netherlands; Queensland University of Technology, Queensland, Australia; and with academic institutions in Finland, Khazhakstan, Chile, and Mexico.
International fellows have an opportunity to receive advanced training in health promotion and program evaluation. Fellows selected hold key positions within their country and are equipped to make a significant impact upon their country's health promotion programs when they return.
