Texas Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (MSA and Public Health Region level; 2002-2005)
Covers asthma, diabetes, flu shots, binge drinking, mammograms, pap smears, overweight/obesity, pneumonia shots, health insurance, leisure time, and smoking.

  • SMART: Selected Metropolitan/Micropolitan Area Risk Trends (Centers for Disease Control & Prevention; currently only Dallas-Plano-Irving Metropolitan Division and Houston-Baytown-Sugar Land Metropolitan Statistical Area; Harris County and Dallas County; 2002-2004)
    MMSAs are selected on the basis of having had 500 or more respondents to the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS). Access Local Area Health Risk Data or Local Area Quick-View Charts. Metropolitan statistical areas are a group of counties that contain at least one urbanized area of 50,000 or more inhabitants. Metropolitan divisions are a smaller group of counties within a metropolitan statistical area of 2.5 million or more inhabitants. Includes asthma, diabetes, and obesity.
