Texas Health Care Information Council (Texas Department of State Health Services)
"The Texas Health Care Information Council (THCIC) was created by the 74th Texas Legislature in 1995, and operates under the umbrella of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. THCIC's primary purpose is to provide data that will enable Texas consumers and health plan purchasers to make informed health care decisions. The Council's charge is to collect data and report on the quality performance of health maintenance organizations operating in Texas and hospitals."

Federal Sources of Data
This site is a laundry list of data that comes from the federal government. Many of the resources are listed throughout CHARTing, but you may need data that is only at the state level and, consequently, most likely not on CHARTing.
