Patrick Grealy

Community of Science Profile

Received a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Southern Connecticut State University in 1973. Mr. Grealy develops data bases and produces data monitoring and analysis reports for CCCT randomized clinical trials. Trials on which he has worked include HDFP, BHAT, SHEP, TAIM, CRYO-ROP, SAVE, CARE, LIGHT-ROP, ETROP, ALLHAT, and SPOTRIAS. He has developed programs, documentation, and online randomization procedures for enrolling patients into trials.

Mr. Grealy also maintains the HP/Compaq Alpha OpenVMS cluster including system upgrades, license renewals, file backup/restore procedures, and management of user accounts. Areas of expertise are data management and analysis, data editing and control, central and remote data entry, study forms design, and web-based systems.
