Lemuel Moyé, M.D., Ph.D.

Community of Science Profile

Received his M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1978 and his Ph.D. in Biometry from The University of Texas School of Public Health at Houston in 1987. Dr. Moyé was a practicing physician for more than ten years, and has extensive experience in the design, conduct, and analysis of multicenter clinical trials of cardiovascular disease, particularly cardiovascular trials.

He has been a co-investigator on several of the clinical trials coordinated at the CCCT, participating in most aspects of these studies. He was the Co-Principal Investigator for the Bristol-Myers Squibb-sponsored CARE/SAVE clinical trials. He was the Principal Investigator of the NITRO-DUR Study Coordinating Center and participated in the SHEP clinical trial.
