The San Antonio Regional Campus of The University of Texas School of Public Health is located near the campus of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and offers graduate level courses leading to the Master of Public Health and Doctor of Public Health degrees.
The program includes coursework in the disciplines of Biostatistics, Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences, Epidemiology and Disease Control, Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences, and Management, Policy and Community Health. The interests of the students and faculty have been primarily in community health problems, disease control, administration, environmental health, occupational health, and veterinary public health, but other special fields may be emphasized within the limits of the resources available and the special skills of the full-time and adjunct faculty.
The San Antonio Regional Campus is strategically located to study the community health problems of the military, of urban and rural South Texas, and the Texas-Mexico border.
