The Food Intake Analysis System (FIAS) is the nutrient analysis software program which can utilize the Food and Nutrient Databases produced by USDA's Food Surveys Research Group.  These include the 1994-1996, 1998 USDA Continuing Survey of Food Intakes by Individuals (CSFII) Nutrient Data Base, FNDDS 1.0, FNDDS 2.0 and soon, FNDDS 3.0. These databases all contain approximately 7300 foods including brand names, ethnic foods and recipes and nutrient information for up to 64 food components including individual fatty acids.
