The 2008-2009 Texas Fitness Now grant is a continuation grant.  Only local education agencies (LEAs) with eligible campuses in 2007-200 8 are eligible to apply for a grant in 2008-2009.  The list of eligible campuses and entitlement amounts are available by selecting the 2008-2009 Texas Fitness Now Program Eligibility List link above, or by visiting TEA’s Grant Opportunities webpage.

The deadline to apply for the 2008-2009 Texas Fitness Now grant is Friday, September 26, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time.  The grant is available through the traditional paper method.  Eligible LEAs must download, complete, and print the application.  Grant applications must be mailed or delivered to the following address:

NO FAXED APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED .
